General Terms and Conditions

All children attending Sonic Boom must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Parents and caregivers remain responsible for the supervision, behaviour and safety of the children in their care throughout the event.

Children must not be left unattended at any time.

Safety

For everyone’s safety, parents and caregivers are expected to:

* supervise children at all times

* discourage rough play or unsafe behaviour

* prevent children climbing on furniture, staging, barriers or equipment

* follow any reasonable safety instructions given by Sonic Boom crew or venue staff

* assist if requested to help manage their child’s behaviour.

Unsafe Behaviour

If behaviour presents a risk to the child or others, Sonic Boom or venue staff may ask the child to return to their caregiver or leave the activity area until it is safe to continue.

Lost Children

If a child becomes separated from their caregiver, Sonic Boom staff will assist in reuniting families as quickly as possible.

Performance Notice

This show may include flashing (strobe) lighting, theatrical smoke effects, loud music and excited children

Sound levels are continuously monitored throughout the performance using a decibel meter and are kept within recognised safe listening guidelines.

If you or your child are sensitive to sound, complimentary earplugs are available from the merchandise table.

Photography & Videography Notice

Photographs and video footage may be taken during this event and used by Sonic Boom for promotional and marketing purposes, including on social media, our website, and other promotional material.

If you do not wish for your child to be photographed or filmed, please let a member of our team know before the performance, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

We hope you have an amazing time at the show!

Our Commitment to Safe Sound Levels

At Sonic Boom, your family's safety is important to us.

We continuously monitor sound levels throughout the performance using a calibrated decibel meter and aim to keep average sound levels below 95 dB during our 75-minute show. This is consistent with internationally recognised safe-listening guidance for recreational sound exposure.

If your child is particularly sensitive to sound, we recommend bringing or using hearing protection, or please help yourself to the ear plugs provided free of charge - at the merch table.
